If you know me outside of the blogosphere, you know when I say "it's no big deal" it's actually the hugest deal ever. And being a Maid/Babe of Honor for my BFF's wedding = giant deal! Katie is one of my bestests from "home" (Upstate, NY), and this year I got the pleasure to meet her now fiance [Jere]Miah. He popped the question this week (although the m-word was pretty obvious from day one) and I have officially been asked to be MOH (that's Maid of Honor for all of you who didn't see the previews for that Patrick Dempsey movie).
The wedding isn't until 2010, so I have about two years, which I could either spend twiddling my thumbs or using them to blog about my MOH-ing and to let Katie know that I'm here for her even though I won't always be there for her. Even from long distance(ish) I plan on being the best Babe of Honor I can be. And blogging about it.
